About Me
I’m Kevin, a wildlife photographer and conservationist based in Guanacaste, Costa Rica—a place where untamed nature still speaks if you know how to listen. For years, I’ve been chasing light through dense rainforests, coastal wetlands, and hidden corners of this remarkable region. But I never chased just for the sake of a beautiful image. Every photograph is a conversation between me and the wild—a moment where I’m asking: What story does this creature have to tell?
Growing up surrounded by extraordinary biodiversity, I realized that most people never truly see the wildlife that shares this planet with us. A harpy eagle overhead. A poison dart frog on a damp leaf. A hunting jaguar at dawn. These aren’t just subjects—they’re proof of a world that is simultaneously fragile and resilient.
I started Earth & Light because I believe photography is the most honest language nature has. A single image can shift perspectives, connect people to the wild, and transform a stranger into an advocate for conservation. My work captures raw, cinematic moments—birds of prey, insects, reptiles, amphibians, and coastal landscapes—revealing untamed beauty while advocating for environmental awareness.
Every fine art print carries a purpose. I don't just sell prints; I share pieces of a world that desperately needs defenders. A portion of what you invest in my work goes directly toward supporting local conservation initiatives here in Costa Rica—because protecting these ecosystems isn't a luxury. It's essential.
Whether you're drawn to the majesty of a predator's gaze, the delicate geometry of an insect's wing, or the golden hour light breaking through the canopy—I hope my work reminds you that we are not separate from nature. We are part of it. Every frame is an invitation to witness, to care, and to act.
